About CEO America

Built by people who have sat in the CEO's chair.

CEO America, Inc. was founded in 2010 to give the leaders of privately held companies something they rarely have: honest counsel from peers who understand the job.

Executives meeting in a boardroom

Our story

Most business owners in Dallas–Fort Worth run companies too large to manage by instinct and too small to have a full board. They make high-stakes decisions about people, capital, and growth largely alone.

We built CEO America around a simple format: small, confidential groups of non-competing CEOs who meet every month, combined with one-on-one coaching that turns group insight into action.

Over time we added strategic planning retreats, leadership team facilitation, and succession planning support — because the same leaders kept asking for help with the same moments.

How we operate

Confidential

Every member signs a confidentiality agreement. What's said in the room stays there.

Non-competing

We never seat direct competitors, suppliers, or customers in the same group.

No selling

Members don't pitch each other, and we don't sell financial products or take referral fees.

Accountable

Commitments are tracked and revisited every month — kindly, but every time.

"We don't tell CEOs what to do. We help them see their business clearly enough to decide."

Our guiding principle

What we are — and aren't

We're advisors and facilitators. We aren't attorneys, accountants, investment advisors, or brokers, and nothing we provide is legal, tax, or investment advice. When members need those specialists, we encourage them to engage their own.
